2026 Spooky Season Soap set
For 2026 I thought it was a good time to honour Witches from around the world .Four soaps with four different scents that honour four different witches , I created soaps I felt represented and honoured them a candle is also included in the gift set to make it a perfect spooky season offering .
Our first soap is Baba Yaga.
aASlavic witch ,she is said to capture children ,cooking and eating them. She is also known as a pure hearted and a giver of guidance and assistance with impossible tasks she flies using a large wooden or iron mortar that she steers with the pestle and sweeps away her tracks with a broom. Baba Yaga`s soap has red thyme ,balsam fir and patchouli oils
Next up is Yamauba a Japanese mountain witch or yokai
in Japanese there are many terms for witches like Yokai in one tale Yamauba is a fairy of the mountains ,which have been under her care since the world began ,she decorates them with snow in winter and blossoms in spring. Yamauba`s soaps has Benzoin, Cinnamon , Cedar and Patchouli oils
We have Ceridwen a Welsh or Celtic witch goddess
Depicted with her magical cauldron , that boiled for a year and one day to brew a potion of supreme knowledge and inspiration.
in paganism she is revered as the mother, crone or Moon goddess.
Ceridwen`s Soap has Frankincense , Cedar , Vanilla Oleoresin ,and Bergamot oils. dressed with Mugwort, Lavender, Hawthorn and Yarrow to honour her .
We come to Hecate now the triple moon goddess with greek origins.
Hecate the goddess of magic she is the mother of witches in some traditions.She represents magic , the night , the moon and liminal spaces.
hecate is often shown as triple bodied , or having three faces looking in different directions . Said to watch over crossroads and boundaries .
Hecate`s Soap has Myrrh , Vetiver, and Clove oils and is dressed with Red Bee balm.
